He said it was his most favorite cake. She made it in the White House, she made it to woo him. The cake is kind of a dairy and egg bomb so I veganized it.

I used 3/4 cup vanilla soy yogurt to mix with the sugar instead of the butter.

1 cup soy milk

1/3 cup canola oil just mixed in there to keep it moist.

kind of just ditched the egg whites.

Let’s face it – Lincoln would totally be a vegan today and this is how he would eat it.
